Day By Day 71

 Before I tell you about today, I want to state that on Wednesday, I neglected to write in my blog, and I want to do that now.  We got up and had breakfast, and the wind had died down, so after breakfast we went on the bird walk.  We saw egrets, blue herons and other birds, and it was quite pleasant.  Then we went into town and ate at the Tides restaurant and that was great.  We shared a clam chowder, and I had Crab and Shrimp Louie.  Then we decided to go back to the 7 dollar a Day Park, and we got out and walked along the ocean side for quite a distance.  We had fun on the walk, though I had to hold onto Bill.  It was uneven on the beach.  Then we returned home and then went to dinner at 5:30 and I had a butter lettuce salad and clams.  It was filling, and we got home in time to watch part of a movie and then we went to bed.

 

Today, Bill and I got out early to go to Trader Joe’s, and I spent a lot of money on that.  When we returned and put away the groceries, then we decided to go for a walk, but we only did half of it because it was raining hard.  We had to take off all our wet stuff.  Then I read and Bill fixed land line phone, then he went upstairs, and I had lunch, then he came down.  He’s eating now.  I’m doing baked potatoes and meat loaf for dinner.  I am going out to read after I finish this blog.  We saw an interesting film last night – ‘I am Mother’.  Very unusual.

Day By Day 17

  Today I had my one-month checkup after my Catheter Oblation.     Things are looking good.     I feel great and have no lingering side effects.     I hope to be able to stop the sotalol.     For 2 weeks I’ll do half a tab then hopefully discontinue it.     Let’s see how it goes! Today we had the cleaners here in the morning, then we took our walk after that was over.  I had lunch, and then rested until the conference call.   Now I don’t exactly know what to do about the rest of the day.  I guess I’ll try to call someone and talk.  Deb or Sharon, perhaps.

Day By Day 115

  Yesterday I walked with Deb and we went to a new place for tea.     It was fun.     Today Bill and I walked to College Avenue and got money out for the cleaners, then returned home.     At 11:45 Jessi came over with dinner for us.     We went to McDonald’s for lunch for a treat.     We are having salmon for dinner tonight.     I watched a movie after lunch.     We’ll watch another episode of Vera tonight.
