Day by Day

  I haven’t written for the last couple of weeks.     I am busy with getting ready for our trip to Maui and all the stuff required for that.     But we had a lovely Father’s Day with Scott, Jessi, Wesley, Lewis, Maggie and Victor and their two kids.     We shouted and yelled and had a ball. Oakland Soul women’s soccer was a great team and the won 5-0.     We also saw my dentist and I am taking advice from my cardiologist.     This week and last I walked with Deb.     I am going with Bill and Jessi and the kids on Friday and our women’s group is on Sunday at Carol’s.     Next week I will do more last-minute things like sunscreen and getting my other things I need for the trip.    

  Yesterday we went into San Francisco and had lunch with a few people who were all indigenous and loving the connections.     Our 80-year-old friend was there, her daughter, her granddaughter and many others.     We had a great time. Today we went to Mrs. Dalloway’s and I bought five gifts for Father’s Day and sent two of them off to Seattle and Portland.  They should arrive Wednesday.  Tomorrow, I see the dermatologist in the morning and then hopefully we go for a walk again, as we did today.  Wednesday I’m having lunch with Sandy, and Thursday I see my Cardiologist at 1 pm.
